The 18 By-Laws of DDMC
1. Respect the DDMC, DDMC Colors are worn visibly on all official Dog rides
(either T’s or Vests or both)
2. “Paper - Scissors – Rock” decides a split vote
3. OK to opt out of rides / activities, however, recognize that participation makes a club
4. Respect a Dog’s views, privacy, Other Bikers, Other Clubs, Other People and the Law
5. Have fun, seek adventure, refrain from public exhibitionism, nothing stupid
6. Look out and protect each other, it’s Semper Fi
7. On any ride the appointed event Road Captain is the King
8. Bikes are clean and in working order
9. It’s about the ride, therefore Ride Safe
10. Respect all our Sweeties/Loved Ones
11. No Dog can commit for another Dog
12. Honor, respect, trust, privacy and total confidentiality within the Club
13. All Dogs are Equal, there are no Chapters, all belong to the one Club
14. No Club Dues
15. Membership granted after 6 month Prospect period on majority of “yes’s”, any number
of abstains, and no “no’s” from members
16. Say what ever, but recognize it is your view, otherwise keep your politics and religion to
yourself
17. Expulsion from Club requires 100% “yes” of all “members in good standing”
.... and most important
18. It’s OK to get lost and perfect the art of the U Turn.
Three by-laws that require 100% yes vote from all Dogs : viz --> 1) Membership Rule Changes,
2) Changes to the Colors, 3) Expulsion of a Dog. All the other by-laws are as for membership
inclusion ie : majority of yes's, no no's, any number of abstains, absenteeism is counted as an
abstain providing the other criteria are met.
